What Is in This Range
31 designs, all vitrified. The formats split between 600x600mm (2x2 foot) for the largest group and 600x1200mm (2x4 foot) for the rest. The finish is overwhelmingly matt, with a few glossy designs and one super matt, and the looks run from flat colour through cement and concrete effects to soft stone textures.
Price
Priced designs here run from Rs 53 to Rs 56 per square foot, which makes this one of the more affordable ways to floor a living room in a large format. Designs without a listed price are quoted, so ask and we will send the rate the same day.
When a Plain Floor Is the Better Choice
Small rooms
A repeat pattern needs area to resolve. In a compact hall it gets cut at every edge and never reads as intended. A plain floor in a large format has the opposite effect and makes the room feel bigger, because there is less visual interruption across it.
Rooms that already have a lot going on
If the walls carry a highlighter, or the furniture is strongly patterned, a plain floor is what stops the room feeling crowded. It is also the safer choice if you expect to change the furniture within a few years.
Rooms that open into other rooms
Where a living room runs into a dining area or a passage with no door between them, a plain floor carries through without a visible join in the pattern.
Matt, and Why
Most of this range is matt, which suits a plain floor for a practical reason. A plain glossy floor is the least forgiving surface in a house: with no pattern to break up the reflection, every footmark, water spot and fine scratch is visible across the whole room. Matt in the same colour hides all of it. Our matt versus glossy guide goes into where each belongs.

Quantities
A 600x600mm tile covers about 3.88 square feet and usually comes four to a box, giving roughly 15.5 square feet a box. A 600x1200mm tile covers about 7.75 square feet and usually comes two to a box, for the same coverage. Add ten per cent for a straight layout. Our guide to how many tiles you need covers the arithmetic.
