Returns and cancellation policy

Last updated 12 September 2026

Tiles, sanitary ware and fittings are heavy, fragile and often made in batches, so please read this before you order. It applies to orders placed on myhomestudio.co and confirmed by our team.

Damaged or defective items: replaced or refunded free

If a product arrives damaged (beyond the normal transit breakage described below) or has a manufacturing defect, tell us within 4 days of delivery, before it is installed, with photos. We will replace it, or refund it if you prefer, free of charge, and we collect the item from you at no cost. Refunds are made within 7 days of the item reaching us, to the way you paid.

No change-of-mind returns

Products that arrive in good condition cannot be exchanged or returned because you changed your mind or ordered the wrong item. Please check the product, size, finish and quantity before you order. If you are unsure, our team is happy to help on the confirmation call, or you can see the products at our showroom.

Cancelling an order

Before your order is confirmed: you can cancel at any time, free of charge. Just tell us on the confirmation call, or call or WhatsApp us with your order number (for example MHS-260912-7K4Q).
After your order is confirmed: contact us as soon as possible. Whether it can still be cancelled, and any charge, depends on whether the goods have been dispatched or specially ordered for you; our team will tell you before anything is decided.
If you have already paid and a cancellation is agreed, we refund the agreed amount to the way you paid. The team confirms the amount and the timeline with you.

Breakage in transit

As per company standard, 1–2% breakage can happen during transit and handling of tiles and ceramics, and this is not treated as a defect. If you find more damage than that, tell us within 4 days of delivery, with photos of the boxes and the damaged pieces, and we will replace the damaged pieces free of charge.

Colour and batch variation

Tiles and ceramics can vary slightly in colour and texture between production batches. Order the full quantity you need together so it comes from one batch; a later top-up may not match exactly.

Check before installation

Please check the material when it is delivered and tell us about any colour, size or quality issue before installation. Complaints after the material has been installed cannot be accepted.

Manufacturing defects

Where a brand offers a product warranty (common for faucets and sanitary ware), the brand's warranty terms apply, and we will help you raise the claim with the brand.
