Kitchen Sink Taps and Mixers
The kitchen tap works harder than any tap in the house, filling pots, rinsing vegetables and washing up several times a day. Our kitchen taps cover 60 products in three types: sink cocks, sink mixers and single lever sink mixers.
Which Type Do You Need
- Sink cock: a single water line, cold or filtered, usually with a swivel spout.
- Sink mixer: hot and cold through two handles and one spout.
- Single lever sink mixer: hot and cold controlled with one handle, easy to use with wet or busy hands; some have pull down spray heads.
Wall or Deck Mounted
Kitchen taps here come in both wall mounted and deck mounted (counter) models. A wall mounted tap keeps the counter clear behind the sink; a deck mounted tap needs a hole in the counter or sink. Check where your plumbing comes out before choosing. A tall spout gives room to fill large vessels.
Materials, Brands and Price
Almost every kitchen tap here is brass with a chrome plated finish, from Sonet, Kohler and Jaquar. Kohler and Jaquar products are sold at their maximum retail price. Where a price is listed, kitchen taps range from about ₹890 to ₹7,150.
