Laid Long Side Across
Run horizontally, this format pulls a narrow bathroom visually wider, which is the usual reason to choose it over a square. A single tile covers about 1.94 square feet.
Setting Out
Decide where the cut course goes before any adhesive is mixed. The honest place is low on the wall, behind the fittings, rather than at eye level. Ask your tiler to dry lay the first two courses so you can see it.
Pairing
This size takes a highlighter strip well, because the horizontal lines already run round the room. Keep the highlighter to one wall and one course.
