Bathroom floors, photographed laid. This is the one floor in a house that is wet every day, so grip matters more here than anywhere else, and the photographs are worth reading for how the floor meets the wall and the drain.
242 photographs, showing 217–240.
Ask us for the anti-skid rating on anything here before you order it, particularly if the bathroom is used by children or elderly parents. A photograph cannot show you grip, and it is the single most important property of a bathroom floor.
Many of these floors are laid in smaller tiles. That is not a style choice: the floor has to slope towards the drain from every direction, and the grout lines are what let it.
Look at where the floor meets the wall. A skirting course, a coved edge or a clean junction all read differently, and the detail is easier to get right if it is decided before the tiling starts.
Every photograph above links to the tile in it. To browse by design instead, see Marble & Stone, Plain & Texture or Geometrical . For advice rather than photographs, read our anti-skid bathroom tile guide.
